Windows 10 End of Life October 2025 – Act Now!

What do I need to know? Windows 10 will go End of Life on 14th October 2025.

 

What does this mean for my business? You will no longer receive:

 
  • Technical Support - Microsoft will no longer help with any Windows 10 issues - if you encounter bugs or performance problems, resolving them may be challenging and costly.
  • Security Updates - Windows 10 will become increasingly vulnerable to cyber threats. Hackers often target unsupported operating systems, which can put your business data and systems at risk.
  • Feature Updates - Without feature updates, Windows 10 may lag behind in terms of performance, compatibility and new functionality, potentially limiting productivity and compatibility with newer software.
What do I need to do? Speak to your Connect Systems representative or email hello@connectsys.co.uk to enquire about upgrading to Windows 11. We can review your devices and make sound recommendations to ensure you get the most value for money moving forward. The deadline for this is fast approaching, so we'd advise people to act now! Things to consider

  • Existing devices may be entitled to upgrade at no extra cost if they are Windows 11 compatible, we can assist in identifying these devices and making the upgrade as smooth as possible.
  • It might be worth purchasing new PC’s/laptops/tablets instead. With IT requirements continually rising, this might be an ideal time to assess your business’s hardware, to avoid having to upgrade twice and to benefit from the developments in modern hardware immediately.
  • Have you considered paying for new hardware monthly rather than upfront? This could spread the cost over the lifespan of the device and is an increasingly popular option.
By taking proactive steps now, you can mitigate potential risks and ensure your business remains secure and productive beyond Windows 10’s End of Life.
